05.-07. May 2017
The six best abstracts will be chosen for a special oral presentation. The selection will be based on innovation and clinical significance of the work for the respective field. The best three presentations will be awarded the first, second and third echo Oral Presentation Prize.
We will have three Grand Lectures given by exceptional guests. These lectures are themed such that they will be of interest for both, clinicians and scientists.
Introduced by a physician or scientist, the sessions will provide a teaching component as well as new insights in research and patient care. On top of that, selected participants will have the opportunity to present their own data.
Moderated by a clinician, the auditorium is called to participate in an interactive case study including differential diagnoses, diagnostics and treatment. We will have two cases in both, Oncology and Hematology. The first will be a common disease (non-zebra) and the second will be a rare disease (zebra).
One of the aims of the echo is to give junior clinicians and junior scientists the opportunity to gain experience in scientific presentation. Therefore, we integrated two poster sessions ensuring that every abstract sumbitted by an undergraduate will at least receive a poster presentation.
As not all speakers are confirmed yet, this schedule is just preliminary.
